For the glory of God

It has been 23 years since the Renewal Retreat Centre was chosen as the spiritual sanctuary of Bangalore. The Lord is using the Centre as an instrument to shower us with his love and mercy on everyone who comes crying for his mercy.  The Centre dedicated to the immaculate heart of mother Mary, services in English, Kannada, Tamil, Konkani and Malayalam with praise and worship raising through the day and night. The Lord has provided the ambience for over 600 people to attend live in retreats. Preaching the word of God, Eucharistic Celebration, adoration, Eucharistic procession, Rosary, Stations of the Cross, sacrament of reconciliation, spiritual counseling, divine mercy counseling, music ministry, personal prayers makes the retreat a spiritual haven for every retreatant.

Abundant blessings and mercy is showered upon the people of God through the services conducted in the 5 languages.

Services in Kannada

Kannada Retreat: Kannada retreat begins on Friday previous to 3rd Saturday of the month at 9:30 AM and ends on Sunday at 5 PM.

Night Vigil: Hundreds of people from different parts of Karnataka to attend the night vigil conducted every first Saturday of the month.

Youth Retreat: Every first Sunday of the month between 11 AM and 4 PM the youth retreat is conducted in Kannada. The various services conducted in the retreat gives the youth the spiritual guidance needed to walk in the ways of the Lord.

Family Retreat: To help the families lead a holy and prayerful life family retreats are conducted through the intercession of the parents of Little Flower of St Therese Saints Louis Martin Zelie Martin.

Parish Retreat: One day retreats and annual retreats are conducted across parishes in Karnataka to spread the good news and help the people of God to grow spiritually.

Hospital Ministry: The team visits the patients in the hospitals and houses and conduct prayer and healing services.

Bible Convention: Bible conventions are conducted every year during the month of April, May and October giving the people from different region and religion to bring them a step closer to God and receive the blessings from God.

Intercessory prayer: Intercessory prayers are held every week from Monday to Thursday from 11 AM to 2:00 PM.

 

Services in Tamil

Tamil Retreat: Tamil retreat begins on 3rd Friday previous to third Sunday of the month at 9:30 AM and ends on 3rd Sunday at 5 PM.

Night Vigil:  Hundreds of people take part in the night vigil conducted every second Saturday of the month between 9:30 PM to 5:00 AM and receive the blessings of God.

Fasting adoration: Every Friday between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM adoration with fasting and prayers are conducted.

Intercessory Prayers: Every Thursday between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM Jericho procession and intercessory prayers are conducted.

Youth Retreat: Every 4th Sunday of the month between 10:00 AM and 5:00 PM the youth retreat is conducted in Tamil. The various services conducted in the retreat gives the youth the spiritual guidance needed to walk in the ways of the Lord.

Services in Konkani

Konkani Retreat: The Konkani retreat begins on every 4th Friday of the month at  9:00 AM and ends on the 4th Sunday at 5:00 PM.

Night Vigil:   Every first Sunday of the month the night vigil is conducted between 9:30 PM to 5:00 AM.

Services in English

English Retreat: begins on Friday prior to 1st Sunday and ends on 1st Sunday. Retreat begins on Friday at 9.30 am and ends on Sunday 5 pm.

Night Vigil:   Every week on Tuesday nights the vigil is conducted between 07:00 PM to 11:00 AM.

Eucharistic Celebration: The Eucharistic celebration is conducted in English at 7:30 PM in the evenings.

 

Services in Malayalam

Malayalam Retreat: Malayalam retreat begins on Thursday previous to second Saturday of every month.  Retreat starts at 5pm on Thursday and concludes by 3 pm on Sunday.

Fasting Adoration: Every Friday between 10:45 AM and 3:45 PM the Fasting prayers are conducted. The services include Rosary, Novena, Stations of the Cross, preaching the word of God, Eucharistic adoration and celebration.

Saturday Services: The Saturday services starts with Eucharistic celebration at 6:00 PM followed by Eucharistic adoration and concludes by 7.30 pm. Special prayers for students, families and religious are conducted during the adoration.

Sunday Services: The Sunday services starts at 9:15 AM with the Rosary followed by Novena, word of God, Eucharistic adoration and celebration. Over more than 3000 people from across the state attend this Bible convention. People who are plagued by trials and tribulation find peace receive the blessings from God.

Penitential Service: Every last Tuesday to last Thursday the penitential service is conducted after the evening 6:25 Malayalam mass and on Friday during the fasting prayer service at 02.00 pm. The faithful pray for the repentance and forgiveness of their personal sins and the sins of the family.

Marian Night: Every last Friday of the month the Marian night vigil is conducted from 9:30 PM in the night to next day morning 4:30 AM. The faithful pray to Mother Mary and receive blessings through her intercession. Hundreds of faithful from different parts of Karnataka and receive the blessings of God.

Sacred Heart Night: Every First Friday night vigil is dedicated to the Sacred Heart. The faithful spent the time between 10:00 PM and 4:30 AM in prayer, novena to the Sacred Heart and adoration.

Night vigils: Every Monday nights the vigil is conducted for all the business people and every Wednesday for all the faithful.

Intercessory Prayer: The intercessory prayer team prays for the various intentions of the Centre and the faithful from Monday to Saturday between 9:00 AM and 1:00 PM.

Lebyusona Family mission: The family is divine in origin. God created the family, and He has divine purposes for it. Following His purposes for marriage and family life gives us the best opportunities for family fulfillment. Family life today is under siege. Families are affected by divorce, a crisis in roles, absence of parental care, a breakdown of authority, preoccupation with things, insufficient time together, financial pressures, and a host of other problems. Knowing that marriage and the family constitute one of the most precious of human values, RRC has started Lebeusona family mission to help everyone achieve quality and health in family life. St. Therese‘s parents St. Martin and St. Zelie Guerin are considered as the model for this noble vision. Counseling for family members, Intercessory Prayer and special classes are conducted as part of this mission.

Retreats for Nurses: One day retreats and special prayer services are conducted for the nurses working in different hospitals.

Marian Convention: Every year in the month of August the Marian Convention is conducted. More than 5000 faithful attend this convention and received blessings and healing through the intercession of Mary our Mother.

Eucharistic Celebration: The holy mass is celebrated twice every day in Malayalam. The morning mass is celebrated at 6:25 AM on all days and at 6:25 PM from Monday to Friday in the evening. On Saturday and Sunday the evening mass is at 6:00 PM.

Other Services

Virunnu Celebration:  Annual Virunnu Celebration celebrated in the month of December is a day dedicated to thank and praise the Lord for all the blessings bestowed upon the Centre for the last 17 years and providing us with the necessary support to run all the services free of cost. The Eucharistic celebration is led by the Arch Bishop of Bangalore on that day and lunch is provided for over 8000 people who come from different part of the state to celebrate this day.

Spiritual Sharing: From Monday to Thursday between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM the spiritual Sharing and general instructions to lead a faithful life is held. The faithful who would like to avail this service can register by giving their names in the RRC office.

Sacrament of Reconciliation: Every day the faithful can receive absolutions for their sins through confessions. The confessions are heard between 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM in the mornings and between 5:30 PM and 7:00 PM in the evenings.

Chain Rosary: In the month of October and as a precursor to other special services the Rosary is recited everyday between 7:00 AM in the morning and 10:00 PM in the evening.

Devotion to Saints:  Apart from these services we celebrate novenas and days dedicated to saints as per the Catholic Church calendar and extend the diving blessing to all the faithful.

The faithful caught in the hustle and bustle of the Bangalore city are wandering like the sheep without a shepherd. It has been 23 years since Lord Jesus Christ the good shepherd chose this place to provide peace and joy to the people who long to hear the word of God. Let us thank, praise and worship the Lord for showering his blessings upon this Centre. Let us pray that Centre may always be an instrument to glorify the Lord and let the voice of praise and worship be raised to the heavens and the good Lord continue to bestow his blessings upon the thousands who flock the Centre.
