There are two inspirational verses that guide every CST Priest. The first is handed over to us by our Fr. Founder and the second is an inspirational from our Patron Saint. The Biblicalexhortation given to us by Fr. Basilius Panat is to be a good neighbour as in Luke 10/37: “Go and do likewise”. The inspirational from St. Little Flower is: “I would want to preach the Gospel on all the five continents simultaneously and even to the most remote isles. I would be a missionary not for a few years only but from the beginning of creation until the consummation of the ages.”
St. Little Flower remains the spiritual force behind CST Commitment in Bangalore. It was her dream and expressed wish to proclaim the Gospel of the Lord in the five continents as well as to the ends of the earth. Bangalore city evangelization is a profound means entrusted by the Catholic Church in the hands of CST Fathers, to reach out to people of varying languages, cultures and faith traditions, with the message of Christ. Little Flower Congregation is proud of its members involved in the ministry of the Gospel under the spiritual guidance of Director Fr. Jospeh Mundolickal.
We gratefully remember our Founder Fr. Basilius Panat who passed on to us the dream of St. Little Flower. In our missionary endeavor and evangelization commitments, our Founder Father remains a constant intercessor and inspiration. I admire and appreciate the spiritual inspiration received by Fr. George Jacob Poothakuzhy to found and develop this centre of spiritual renewal. His eminent preaching and spiritual experience has given a solid foundation to the GospelMinistries here. It is a great accomplishment to have various ministries done in five language groups and three Rites.
On behalf of Little Flower Congregation (CST Fathers) I thank each and every one who is helping towards the functioning of this Renewal Retreat Centre for the past 23 years. We are very well sure of what the Apostle Paul Proclaims: “…so that your faith must not rest on human wisdom but on God’s Power.” (1 Cor 2/5). You are a gift and expression of God’s Power given to work together towards the establishment of God’s Kingdom.
I pray our Lord’s blessings and the renewed anointing of the Holy Spirit upon each and every team member of RRC. “Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples” (Psalm 105/1).
