Mother Mary constantly intercedes for the people who call out to her for help. When we call out to her with our intercession in our trails in tribulations, she comes as a ray of hope and peace in our personal and family lives.

The heaven cannot repudiate the intercession of Mary our mother. At the wedding at Canna Mary comes to console and dry the tears of the host. The family at Canna is crestfallen after all their plans and preparations fall short. At this painful situation Mary comes to spread joy and hope and becomes a conduit for God’s blessings. St John in 2:1 says the reason for the blessings, ‘Jesus’ mother was there.’ When Mary interceded for that family with Jesus, their tears turned into joy. The same way if Mother Mary comes into our lives and family the blessings of the Almighty will be poured upon us. So ensure that the presence of Mary is in our families and she will work for us.

The freedom that the Lord gives us is not worldly but is of spiritual nature. It is clearly shown through the life of Mary. When we pass through the life of Mary we can see a lot of instances where freedom in its material or worldly sense was denied to Mary. From the time she said, “I am the handmaid of the Lord,” to the crucifixion at Calvary we see Mary’s life being filled with trials and tribulations. But these trials did not infringe on Mary’s spiritual freedom.

Riveted in prayers Mary experienced the spiritual freedom. Let us along with Mary live as per the will of God and obtain the spiritual freedom. Let us seek the perpetual help of Mary through our prayers, worship and rosary and fill our house with her presence.
