The Retreat Centre has been gartering to spiritual needs of thousands of the faithful across Karnataka, especially in the archdiocese of Bangalore. The centre has been a source of succour and spiritual strength through the various retreat conducted throughout the year.
Saint Paul reminds us that “God intended that they would seek Him and perhaps reach out for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us. For in Him we live and move and our beings. (Acts17:28-29). In his letters to the Galatians (5;25) he writes “ Since we live by the Spirit, Let us keep in step with The Spirit”.
We are seeker of many things in life, but only those who seek after the Holy Spirit find Joy, Hope and contentment in life no matter what hurdles the Satan may put in our journey through life. It was the Holy Spirit that led Jesus in the Wilderness and gave Him strength to resist Satan. Jesus came out of the wilderness – experience at some point of time in life, but when we seek the Holy Spirit, we will come through victoriously.
God is eternally gracious, Jesus is ever present to us in the holy Eucharist and the Holy Spirit is always there to guide and strengthen us. St Catherine of Siena said “Enrich your soul in the great goodness of God. The Father is your table, the son is your food, and the Holy Spirit waits on you and then makes His dwelling in you”.
While I congratulate the Director, Preacher and Retreat participate of the Renewal Retreat Centre, I Accord my Blessings upon the centre.
Yours in Christ
